Ibrawlator: Wiz Khalifa Vs. Miley Cyrus Vs. Carrie Underwood
Vote & let us know whose "See You Again" is best!

We’ve finally reached the weekend, Idolator readers! The past few days were filled with major music moments, which kicked off with the wrap-up of Coachella. Kanye West hopped on The Weeknd and Stromae’s sets for surprise performances that many people called one of the bigger highlights of the festival weekend.

Ariana Grande and Big Sean surprisingly (or maybe not so much) broke up along with Miley Cyrus calling it off with her boytoy Patrick, while Adam Lambert released the lyric video for his anticipated “Ghost Town” single. Rihanna also dropped her “James Joint” interlude from her nonexistent #R8 album.

On our end, we launched a new Ibrawlator where you can vote between Wiz Khalifa, Carrie Underwood and Miley Cyrus on whose “See You Again” track is best! We also chatted with the ladies of Fifth Harmony, rising star Rachel Platten, German rapper Cro and popstress Ivy Levan!

And of course, our readers spoke their minds on the going-ons in the frantic musicworld. Read some of the best and shadiest comments below!

:: DeShaun Zollicoffer, like many of us, is completely over Tidal on Spotify Is Now Worth More Than The U.S. Music Industry: Morning Mix: “Jay-Z should’ve just invested in Spotify. Seriously, what was he thinking? No one wants to sign up for another music streaming service. Apple has the best shot at beating them, but they’ll fail too. It’s like trying to overthrow Netflix — isn’t gonna happen.”

:: Jay shares our exact sentiments on Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You” Finally Cracks The Top 40: “I’ve been rather surprised by this song’s unimpressive charting. Sure, it’s already outperformed “This Kiss” and “Tonight I’m Getting Over You,” so I guess that’s SOMETHING. Is this song even being played on radio stations? I haven’t heard it on radio stations here in Houston. I feel like perhaps if radio starts playing it more it will become a hit. If not, it seems like it will definitely be a sleeper hit considering it’s been in the Top 100 for about 2 months now.”

:: He also gets cheeky on Becky G And Austin Mahone Are Too Cute Together: 10 Adorable Pics Of Becstin: “Is it me or are these two destined to be one minor hit wonders?”

:: Pablo Rodriguez is totally feeling the new Brit-Brit on Britney Spears’ Cover Of “Tom’s Diner” With Giorgio Moroder: Listen To A Snippet: “Yasssssssssss gave me some inspiration this afternoon after my workout. Tom’s Diner is my new-re-found shit.”

:: WhiteLady gave her commentary on Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town” Blends Guitar-Pop And House: Watch The Lyric Video: “Yep, not really my favourite song from Adam (I like him better at full glam like on ‘cuckoo’, ‘music again’ or ‘strut’), but I’d still give it a 7/10, I like it and it sounds like a hit to me! I can imagine hearing it in night clubs throughout the summer.
Hopefully it will be played on radio and become the hit he needs to cement his status in the pop world. I’m looking forward to the rest of the album!”

:: MaryTheresa Capriles shared her love for Rachel Platten on Rachel Platten Talks “Fight Song,” Making A Difference And Her Long Road To The Top: Idolator Interview: “I met Rachel’s drummer when he was on tour with another artist last fall 2014. He told me he played for her, and at the time I had not heard of her. I looked her up on iTunes and found “Fight Song” and her album, Be Here, both of which I fell in love with right away. It was only about a month after she did the surprise for Christine Luckenbaugh, and when I watched the video for that, I was moved to tears. I still am every time I watch it. That she would give a gift like that is simply incredible. Rachel is a gifted artist, but more than that, she is an amazing person who has such a big heart. Prior to her signing with Columbia, I had shared with her what “Fight Song” means to me in my life and she replied to me personally, which was such an encouragement to me. I have only met her once, when I worked at her merchandise table on her most recent tour, and she is so sweet and genuine and beautiful, inside and out. Rachel deserves all of her success because this IS meant to be for her. This is why she is here. And I am so grateful.”

:: Luke Palm is taking a break from a certain fanbase on Ciara’s Son Dancing To New Song “All Good” Is The Cutest Thing You’ll See Today: Watch: “Agreed: ‘I Bet’ deserves to be SO much bigger. And this ‘All Good’ is such a promising track! Looks like she’s going all 90’s with Jackie, and I love it. Honestly I’m much more excited for Jackie than this whole “R8″ mess (BBHMM topping the lists? Seriously?) and this comes from someone from the Navy. #RiRigoCiCi”

:: Hannah was super witty on Big Sean & Ariana Grande Reportedly Break Up After 8 Months: I wonder if we’re going to get another “I Don’t Fuck With You.”

:: Finally, Sebastian Red throws slick shade on Paris Hilton Straddles A Motorbike In Second “High Off My Love” Video Teaser: Watch: “The real Artpop tbh”
