This one is an extremely catchy kiss-off anthem.

Brandon Flowers has been releasing steady promo in anticipation of his upcoming The Desired Effect album, which drops in about three weeks. The Las Vegas crooner’s latest video to be revealed is for “Lonely Town.”

The clip itself is quite minimal yet very fun in a throwback kind of way, as it shows a lady grooving and shaking in the confinements of her home to Flowers’ upbeat tune (he doesn’t make an appearance). She is also rocking hot pants and a Walkman — how’s that for some nostalgia? But despite the song’s title, the main star does not seem to be lonely after all…

“Lonely Town” follows “Still Want You” and the insanely catchy “Can’t Deny My Love,” both of which are off Flower’s forthcoming sophomore LP The Desired Effect (out May 19 via Island Records).
