Full confession: I think it’s kind of nice when you don’t really know who a public figure is boinking. It’s like when you follow your fave on Instagram and they clog your timeline up with 14 selfies a day…someone needs to tell these people that a little goes a long way, and maintaining a bit of mystery is the key to what keeps people interested.

That said, Glamour UK has apparently done an interview with Adam Lambert (at least if these scans of what are said to be the pages from the upcoming issue are legit), and two of the hilariously to-the-point questions asked of the “Ghost Town” singer are as follows: “Do you ever find women attractive?” and “Would you ever sleep with a woman?”

Adam Lambert is, as we all know, gay, and so such questions might normally come off as ridiculous and maybe even a bit insulting (in the sense that, what — you think he’s lying about being gay, or that he can just turn it on and off with a switch?). But, surprise — Adam has slept with a woman in recent years, and he’s pretty forthcoming about the experience! So more power to you, Glamour.

“I think women are beautiful — and I always notice when girls smell really good,” Lambert says in the interview when the topic first comes up. “Like most gay men, I’m drawn to really confident women.”

When asked if he’d ever sleep with a woman, Adam adds, “I have before. I did it for the first time when I was 29. It was kind of a random thing, but I was very curious… It felt great. It was a friend of mine and there was tequila involved and a full moon and then suddenly… [Gives a wonderfully dirty chuckle]”

Kudos to Adam for actually dealing with what might come off as prying questions in an honest manner. But, wait — the sex talk didn’t end there; the singer gets even more personal by stating that he’s also slept with closeted colleagues in Hollywood.

The publication asked Adam if he thinks there “are still lots of gay Hollywood actors who pretend to be straight?” (I mean, have  you been out to L.A. within the past 90 years, Glamour?)

“Oh yeah,” Lambert replies. “I’ve been with a few of them. Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that. But with women being the primary movie-goers and record-buyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?”

So there you have it: Adam Lambert seems to have had sex before, folks, hard as that may be to wrap your head around.
