Shawn's 'Handwritten' Reviewed
Our take on the 16-year-old sensation's debut album.

Last week, Shawn Mendes, 16, became the youngest artist to top the Billboard 200 chart in half a decade when his debut LP Handwritten reached #1. The Canadian teen has been keeping the ball rolling by launching into full-on promo mode, and his latest showing is on today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where Mendes performed Teddy Geiger-co-written new single “Stitches.”

Joining Shawn on stage were a herd of female fans, who swayed their arms back and forth on cue, somewhat in sync, for at least a whole 35 seconds. Well done, ladies.
