Each Idolator editor gives their thoughts on the ladies' latest single.

Sia continues to expand her musical realm! After having tunes on movie soundtracks like Annie and Fifty Shades Of Grey, the singer is now adding her voice to the upcoming action-thriller — San Andreas.

For the film, Sia sings a cover of the classic “California Dreamin'” that was originally recorded by The Mamas & The Papas back in 1965 (The Beach Boys also covered it in 1986 for their Made In U.S.A. compilation). Unlike the previously joyous versions, Sia transforms the track into a murky and emotional ballad.

Look out for San Andreas, which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Alexandra Daddario, when it hits theaters on May 29. Watch the trailer below, and let us know in the comments if you’ll be watching the film!
