Miguel Freestyles About Accidental Leg-Drop
Miguel plays it cool when asked about the GIF-able moment.

In December 2012, Miguel’s Grammy-nominated sophomore LP Kaleidescope Dream topped our Best Albums Of The Year roundup — and rightly so, as it still remains a fantastic set of fresh R&B-pop tunes that few, if any, have managed to top over the past three years.

And so we’ve all been gnawing our arms off in anticipation of the singer’s follow-up LP…until this week. The other day Miguel announced that his third studio outing, WILDHEART, will be released this summer. Now, thanks to an on-camera sit-down with Music Choice, the 29-year-old Cali crooner has given us all an official date: June 30.

During his chat with Music Choice, Miguel says WILDHEART shows his growth “as a human being, as a man,” and adds that the album is “more fearless; it’s just edgier and aggressive.”

That’s some good news from Miguel World this week, at least, to counter that lawsuit that just popped up following his botched 2013 Billboard Music Awards jump.
