Stromae’s “Ave Cesaria” Remixed By Major Lazer: Listen

Belgian superstar Stromae is slowly but surely starting to make some headway in the United States, helped in part by a Kanye West cameo during his set at Coachella last month and the superstar posse cut on the Mockingjay soundtrack that he headed. And now he has a remix from Major Lazer.

While that isn’t nearly as significant in terms of bolstering his American reach, it could totally bring more international attention to Major Lazer’s globe-trotting sound. And since the Diplo-led dance crew is gearing up for the release of Peace Is The Mission, the timing is perfect for a Stromae remix. They’ve decided to take on his 2013 song “Ave Cesaria,” adding the usual amount of chirpy synths and bass drops.

The result is the type of globalized dance banger that might captivate American exchange students as they hit the discos in Europe hoping to make “pan-cultural” “memories” that they’ll “never forget.” Check it out below:
