Taylor Swift Will Debut “Bad Blood” Music Video At 2015 Billboard Music Awards
Swift — who is up for four awards — announced the news on Instagram today (May 7), uploading a Quentin Tarantino-esque black + white poster that has the tagline “Band-aids don’t fix bullet holes” with Swift playing a character named Catastrophe. The video will be directed by Joseph Kahn, who recently worked on the singer’s “Blank Space” visual.
Mariah Carey, Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, Sam Smith, Nick Jonas and Hozier are all set to perform at the ceremony. Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea are also planning a “super surprise” for the live debut of their “Pretty Girls” single. Look out for the 2015 Billboard Music Awardswhen it airs live from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, May 17, from 8-11 p.m. EST on ABC.
