After getting into a brief but entertaining Twitter spat with Louis Tomlinson yesterday (May 6), Zayn Malik is now shooting back at One Direction fans’ critique.

The former boy band member spoke up on Twitter this morning, stating: “Don’t know why I’m being attacked for defending myself , people got it twisted! I love my fans ?! Every single one of you x”

Tomlinson also hopped on social media to thank the 1D fanbase. “Our fans support really has been a different class ! Huge love to you guys !!,” he wrote on Twitter.

The entire feud began when Naughty Boy posted a fuzzy photo of himself and Zayn with the caption, “Replace this.”. Tomlinson then proceeded to shade the pop producer before Zayn jumped in with his own commentary.
