Chicago musician Chance The Rapper has been sponsoring a series of Open Mike performances for high school students in his home city, and Monday night (May 11) he enlisted fellow Chicagoans Vic Mensa and Kanye West to take part in the fifth such event.

West performed “All Day” and “U Mad” with Mensa, and as you can see in the below fan-made clip, the Yeezy Dance was in full effect.

And just as it looked like the three Windy City MCs were joining up for an epic rendition of “We Don’t Care,” the first song from West’s first album, whoever was handling the tracks faded out the beat, causing Ye to throw his hands in the air. (Looks like it could’ve been his boy Virgil Abloh manning the decks?)
