Major Lazer & Riff Raff Need “2 Cups”: Watch The Video
With a new album coming next month and a new animated series currently airing on FXX, Major Lazer has double the promo to churn out. So, in addition to teasing out new material from Peace Is The Mission, they’ve been releasing a bunch of non-album songs, most recently with their Stromae remix. Now they’ve released another loosie to promote the show.
This one is a Riff Raff collab called “2 Cups (Double Cup Theme),” featuring the goof-rapper slurring about lean over a not-at-all dancehall-related beat. Since the track is tied in with the cartoon, it’s accompanied by an animated video care of Jeremy Sengly. (We have no idea who’s watching the show, but we’re assuming there’s a big crossover with viewers of Loiter Squad.)
