We spoke to MKTO about smash hit "Classic," their acting careers and next single.

After racking up a string of international hits, MKTO landed their first US smash in 2014 with retro-flavored pop anthem “Classic.” The earworm climbed all the way to number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, while their self-titled debut LP crashed into the top 40. Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, who met on the set of short-lived Nickelodeon sitcom Gigantic, are now ready to take things to the next level with first taste of their sophomore LP.

Co-written and produced with “Classic” collaborators Evan Bogart, Emanuel Kiriakou and Andrew Goldstein, “Bad Girls” picks up where that hit left off — by looking to the past for inspiration. MKTO delve into chunky ’70s funk on the catchy track, which is staging a revival thanks to Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson. Listen to the very promising 15-second preview below. “Bad Girls” drops June 2.
