Iggy Azalea and Britney's "Pretty Girls" video was inspired by 'Earth Girls Are Easy.'

The first glimpse of Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea’s “Pretty Girls” video arrives this afternoon (May 12) in the form of a low-quality teaser. After months of drip-fed information (we know that it’s based on ’80s cult comedy Earth Girls Are Easy, among many other tidbits) and all those pictures from the set, I was expecting to feel a little blase about the final product — but seeing the concept come to life is surprisingly exciting.

It’s hard to discern too much from the fuzzy, eight-second clip, however here are the essential points. Iggy emerges from a pool in full alien regalia (love the beehive), while Britney is partying with her girls. There’s dancing, drinking and lots of terrible Valley Girl fashions. If the video follows the plot of the film, it’s only a matter of time before the pop icon takes I-G-G-Y under her wing and gives her a makeover. Watch the brief teaser below.
