Jennifer Lopez Confirms Her 2016 Las Vegas Residency
Rumors have been swirling about Jennifer Lopez moving to Las Vegas for her residency since the the top of the year, and now the Latina diva has confirmed the news!
The American Idol judge’s residency will begin on January 20, 2016 at the Axis theater at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino (Britney Spears currently performs here). She will then continue to dominate the stage for 19 additional shows over the course of four months. J. Lo said this in a statement:
“I’ve been preparing for this moment my entire life. The show is going to be a multifaceted high energy Jenny from the Block party, mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love – Dance, Hip-Hop, Latin and Pop. It’s going to be the show I’ve always dreamed of creating.”
Artists like Celine Dion, Britney Spears and most recently Mariah Carey have carved out their own slots in Sin City’s entertainment scene, but we’re sure that J. Lo will have no problem fitting in on the block.
