Lights Talks Coachella And New Music
We caught up with Lights at Coachella and asked about festival memories and new music.

When I interviewed Lights at Coachella, the 28-year-old revealed that she had already started thinking about album number four — but insisted there was a lot of life left in 2014’s very, very good Little Machines. The synth-pop siren stays true to her word by rolling out the video for new single “Same Sea.” She shared a preview of the futuristic clip on her Instagram account ahead of the full release tomorrow (May 14).

The Canadian serves Ex Machina vibes in the teaser, which finds Lights transformed into a bob-wearing robot. It’s sleek, sexy and very different from her previous videos. I loved the comedic, conceptual approach of lead single “Up We Go” and the fuzzy nostalgia of “Running With The Boys,” but this could the pop star’s most attention-grabbing visual yet. Watch below.
