Hilary Duff Performs “Sparks” On ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’: Watch
Hilary Duff’s comeback is in full swing. The 27-year-old unveiled the cover of fifth LP Breath In. Breath Out. earlier today (May 14) and then dropped the Tinder-themed video for current single “Sparks.” She kept the momentum going by performing the song on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. While there were some problems with the choreography, Hil did a good job with the hook-filled anthem.
It will be interesting to see if “Sparks” can succeed where “Chasing The Sun” and “All About You” failed — by getting a foothold on top 40 radio. The Tove Lo co-write sounds a lot like Kylie Minogue’s 2001 single “Come Into My World,” but it’s undeniably catchy and stands out from the current crop of pop hits more than her previous efforts. Breathe In. Breathe Out drops June 16. Watch her perform “Sparks” on Ellen up top.
