Future Hit: Grace's "You Don't Own Me"
Grace and G-Eazy's "You Don't Own Me" is the coolest cover of the 2015. Take a listen.

Grace, an 18-year-old singer/songwriter from Brisbane, Australia, currently has the number one selling download at home with a murky, hip-hop/retro-soul cover of Lesley Gore’s 1963 classic “You Down Own Me.” Produced by the legendary Quincy Jones and featuring a verse from L.A. rapper G-Eazy, the track has serious international hit potential and provides one hell of an introduction to the newcomer.

The rising star — her brother Conrad Sewell is also making waves as the voice of Kygo’s “Firestone” — is signed to RCA Records in the US and just unveiled the cover of debut LP Memo as well as a new track called “Memo (Boyfriend Jeans).” It’s a raspy, soulful delight complete with amazing lyrics (“told me I was your Bey and I was your Jay Z“) and a gut-wrenching chorus. Listen to Grace’s new tune here and check out her amazing cover below. Memo drops May 26.

Grace’s Memo tracklist:

1. Dirty Harry
2. Feel Your Love
3. You Don’t Own Me (feat. G-Eazy)
4. The Honey
5. Memo (Boyfriend Jeans)
