Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” Gets A Monster Flosstradamus Remix: Listen
Rihanna’s R8 era is a complete mystery. She came out of the gates confidently with star-studded and very unexpected folk-pop collaboration “FourFiveSeconds,” but then seemed frightened by the tepid (by her lofty standards) response and quickly dropped club-banger “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Unfortunately, it polarized fans and critics and performed even worse on the Billboard Hot 100. The fact that RiRi couldn’t be bothered releasing a video didn’t exactly help its cause.
That takes us to “American Oxygen,” which turned out to be a complete turkey. In fact, the only redeeming feature of Rihanna’s R8 era has been a slew of killer “BBHMM” remixes. Dutch DJ R3hab transformer it into a massive house anthem, while Diplo & Grandtheft had a field day with the floorfiller. The latest (and perhaps, best) remix comes from Flosstradamus. To use one of Barbadian babe’s favorite terms, the Chicago duo completely phuck it up with manic hi-hats and squelchy synths. Listen below.
