Get to know the soulful Aussie crooner.

Australian-born, London-based singer George Maple is prepping her solo debut, but first she has notched another stellar producer collab, and the restrained electro-pop track is here just in time for the nice weather. The silk-voiced Maple joins Goldroom on “Embrace,” which she co-wrote with the L.A. music multi-hyphenate.

Maple sways with the smoothness of Jessie Ware over a gentle synth pulse that glistens like the sun-dappled ocean of your summer vacation dreams, the song urging you to tear yourself away from this desk and this city life and these inane group texts. (I might be projecting here.)
