Bea Miller Shares A Powerful Message In Her “Fire N Gold” Video: Watch
If I had to bet on Disney’s next break-out star, my coins would be on Bea Miller. The 16-year-old came within a whisker of landing a hit in 2014 with excellent teen-angst anthem “Young Blood,” and backed it up with an EP that showcased her fiery attitude and raspy vocals. She returns today (May 20) with a video for “Fire N Gold” — the second single from her debut LP Not An Apology (due 24).
Directed by Black Coffee, the video finds a leather-clad Bea (love the new, dark hair) emoting in room full of teenagers. She then takes a ride on a bed covered in polaroid pictures, before letting loose at a party. It’s an interesting concept, but the real star is the soundtrack. A soaring pop/rock anthem with uplifting lyrics and a killer chorus, “Fire N Gold” should win the budding diva plenty of fans. Watch up top.
