14 Emerging Synth-Pop Acts We Love
Check out these under-the-radar acts riding the nu-wave.

Last week, we posted the lovely, low-key electro-pop strut “Haunt/A Light” by Montreal trio Seoul. It’s off their forthcoming debut album I Become A Shade, and today we’re excited to premiere the LP’s next single, “Real June.”

With its driving tempo, lush bed of synths and delay-drenched guitar, the band has constructed an M83-in-miniature new wave arrangement, which they’ve described as “running into rain.” But rather than slice through the downpour, Julian Flavin’s ecstatic refrain rises like mist after a summer cloudburst.

Check it out below.

I Become A Shade is out June 9 on Grand Jury, and you can preorder it on iTunes.
