Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato have been good friends (as well as song collaborators) for a long time, and now the two artists plan to go into business together! They, along with manager Phil McIntyre, have launched a new record label — Safehouse Records.

According to Billboard, the project is a partnership with Island Records (where Jonas is signed) and Disney’s own Hollywood Records (home to Lovato). Safehouse Records plans to release her upcoming fifth LP and also sign new artists.

Lovato had this to say about her latest business endeavor: “I’ve worked closely with both Nick and Phil for years and we share the same point of view when it comes to making music. It’s incredibly exciting to be part of this new company where I’m in control of all aspects of my career. I can’t wait to share what we’re working on!”
