Ryn Weaver Interview
Ryn Weaver talks Coachella, debut album 'The Fool' and breakthrough hit "OctaHate."

There’s more to Ryn Weaver than “OctaHate.” Which is scary because “OctaHate” is so good. So great, in fact, that it warranted two videos and was lavished with praise by pop stars and super-producers alike. That raises the bar pretty high for everything that follows, but the 22-year-old rose to the challenge with eclectic rock/disco anthem “The Fool” — the title track from her much-hyped debut LP.

Another cut from the album arrives today (May 28) and it’s a divinely literate pop anthem that showcases Ryn’s vocal prowess and knack for penning brutally honest lyrics. “Pierre” has been a highlight of her live set for several months, but it now gets a glorious new arrangement for Vevo LIFT. Watching the “Promises” diva recount tales of failed relationships accompanied by a string section is something to behold. Watch up top.
