Diplo Drags Zedd's New Album
It looks like Diplo isn't a huge fan of Zedd's just-released sophomore LP. See his review.

Diplo has a big mouth. That’s not a criticism — his inability to muster a single fuck is immensely appealing — but it occasionally gets him in trouble. Like the time he made a quip about Taylor Swift’s derriere or that scathing one-tweet review of Zedd’s new album. In case you missed it, “True Colors is a pile of [shit emoji]” was his assessment. The “Lean On” producer was asked to elaborate on that in a new interview with Radio.com and, as usual, he had a lot to say.

“I’m actually not enemies with Zedd by any means,” the 36-year-old clarifies. “I just think that he came from such a cool place, and now he’s been pegged as a money-maker for a major label to do EDM, which to me isn’t even a genre. But they’ve pegged him for that, they’ve marketed him, even the fake relationship with Selena Gomez, all the things to sell records took away from the music.”

“He’s an amazing producer and good songwriter,” Diplo continues. “I was hoping he’d come out of the scene and do something. He had some pop records and I think he was learning how to make great songs through that. So to just kind of like not care and make an album that’s just stereotype… there’s nothing really there for anybody.” That commentary didn’t sit well with the German DJ’s fans and they called out Madonna’s new BFF for being a hypocrite.

“Remember when Diplo “dated” Katy Perry? Like you have room to talk,” one fan tweeted with a link to the article. His response? “I had no singles out w kp lol.” See the twitter exchange below.
