Adam Lambert performed “Ghost Town,” the debut single off his new album The Original High, last night (June 5) on Amsterdam’s RTL Late Night.

Last year, Lambert toured the world with Queen — the pomp rock band behind anthems like “Bohemian Rhapsody.” He used a theatrical fog filter on The Ellen DeGeneres Show set for the live debut of “Ghost Town.” He has a flair for the dramatic. So to see him perform at such a low-key venue felt a bit strange at firstThe RTL stage appears to be a lounge, with people sitting at bar stools not even ten feet away from Lambert. Yet he pulled it off, thanks to the track’s simmering drama and his sheer magnetism.

Lambert also appeared on Alan Carr: Chatty Man last night. Host Alan Carr asked him if he had ever slept with a woman, which he has discussed before, though the clip is still worth seeing if only to see the late-night host compare a vagina to a carnivorous plant.
