Watch Fetty Wap Perform “Trap Queen” & “My Way” On ‘Kimmel’
It was a long journey for “Trap Queen,” Fetty Wap‘s improbable Song of the Summer candidate (go vote for it in our poll!). After building up a gradual swell of momentum online over the course of a year, and some crucial co-signs from Kanye West and Drake, it has become a verifiable hit, leading to a performance on The Tonight Show with The Roots backing him. And just for good measure, the New Jersey rapper performed “Trap Queen” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night (June 9) with some help from Phony Ppl.
And he stuck around to perform “My Way,” which is arguably an even better song, and hopefully this exposed a whole new audience to that debate. Dude’s clearly soaking all this up, as he grinned through most of the performance and let the backing track do the heavy lifting.
