Florence + The Machine Scores First #1 On Album Chart, Jason Derulo’s ‘Everything Is 4’ Arrives In The Top 5
Congratulations to Florence + The Machine, whose stunning How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful LP has become her first #1 album on the Billboard 200. It sold 128,000 copies in its debut week, compared to 2011’s Ceremonials’ 105,000.
Not so surprisingly, Taylor Swift maintains her #2 position with the ubiquitous 1989 album while A$AP Rocky (who snagged the top spot last week with A.L.L.A.) has been pushed to #3 with 50,000 units.
A new face on the charts this week is Jason Derulo, whose extensive promo for Everything Is 4 is paying off! His fourth studio LP has landed at #4, naturally. Rounding out the Top 10 is — wait for it — Maroon 5 with V!
