Rick Ross Arrested For Marijuana Possession In Atlanta
Rick Ross was arrested on marijuana charges after being pulled over on the highway in the Atlanta metro area around 4 p.m. on Wednesday (June 10). According to TMZ, the Bawse was stopped in his Bentley for a window tint violation. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office tells Atlanta’s WBS-TV that cops smelled marijuana during the traffic stop, which gave them probable cause to search the vehicle. Upon searching his car, police found five “rolled marijuana cigarettes.”
Rozay was hit with misdemeanor possession charges and spent a few hours in jail before posting bond overnight. This isn’t his first misdemeanor pot arrest. Rolling Stone points out the rapper was nabbed on a similar charge in 2011 in Louisiana, and in 2008 he was picked up for possession and carrying a concealed firearm.
