Travie McCoy Releases His “Golden” Single Featuring Sia: Watch The Video
Travie McCoy has been laying low over the past few months, save for collaborating with Olly Murs on “Wrapped Up” and releasing his Brendon Urie-assisted “Keep On Keeping On” single last March. But now, the rapper is ready to take on Summer 2015!
He released a music video today (June 15) for his “Golden” single, which features vocals from the illustrious Sia. The visual does not feature the Aussie chanteuse (obviously), and finds McCoy stuck in traffic in the middle of the desert. The rapper experiences déjà vu as he meets some eccentric characters upon walking out of his car. The song itself is a radio-friendly uptempo that embodies McCoy’s hip-pop style, and Sia’s voice on the chorus makes it all the more brighter.
“Golden” is the first taste of Travie McCoy’s follow-up to his 2010 Lazarus debut. There is no word yet on when the currently untitled sophomore album will be released.
