Nick Rhodes talks to us about the band's classic 1993 album.

Yes, you read that correctly: occasional actress/occasional singer/occasional trouble-maker Lindsay Lohan will be featured on Duran Duran‘s upcoming studio album Paper Gods, which will be released in the US on September 18 and one week earlier in all other territories. This news shouldn’t be too shocking, however — LiLo posted an Instagram pic with Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes back in December.

As was previously announced, Paper Gods will be released through the band’s new deal with Warner Bros., and production chores were taken up by Mark Ronson, Nile Rodgers, Mr Hudson and Josh Blair. In fact, Ronson, Rodgers and Hudson put up a united front and co-produced two of the album’s tracks, including lead single “Pressure Off,” which features Janelle Monae and will be made available on iTunes tomorrow, and “Only In Dreams.”

Others featured on the album include Kiesza, Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante and violinist Davidé Rossi. Hopefully they don’t get eclipsed by Lindsay’s latest display of musical genius.
