She says her latest music video is being held up due to cultural appropriation concerns.

M.I.A. has quietly had a busy 2015, posting a new song, working on a new video and appearing on A$AP Rocky‘s new album, in addition to dropping hints about a Matangi follow-up. Then last month came “The New International Sound, Pt. 2,” an out-of-nowhere collab with the Surkin-helmed French techno project Gener8ion. The title track to Gener8ion’s new EP now has a video, and while Maya herself isn’t in it, it certainly fits with her aesthetic — which makes sense since her frequent collaborator Romain Gavras was one of the executive producers.

The visual was directed by Inigo Westmeier, and features footage of children training at Shaolin Tagou, “the largest fighting school for youth in China,” according to the video’s press release. There are some pretty impressive shots of the 36,000 students performing a massive choreographed routine that highlights the art of fighting and why children are terrifying.

Watch the video below.

Bromance #21: The New International Sound, Pt. 2 EP is out today (June 15) on iTunes and Spotify.
