Tinashe Releases Her Distorted “Cold Sweat” Video: Watch

Tinashe has been killing it with her music videos for her Aquarius era, and her latest is no different! The singer dropped her new clip for underrated debut album highlight “Cold Sweat” today (June 23).

The trippy Stephen Garnett-directed visual complements the song’s icy distant nature, due to Tinashe’s slightly demented dance moves as she tries to escape loneliness. The dark undertones help to bring forth the pressures of the music industry the artist sings about in the reclusive tune.

Tinashe’s debut LP Aquarius was released in October 2014, and features tracks like “Pretend,” “Bet,” “Feels Like Vegas” and her latest single — “All Hands On Deck.”

Along with collaborating with acts like Charli XCX, Ty Dolla $ign and Drake, Tinashe is also working with some pretty major music gods for her sophomore follow-up — Max Martin and Dr. Luke. The singer is aiming to finish the project this Fall.
