Disclosure Release Mysterious ‘Caracal’ Film Trailer: Watch
This summer (and the majority of 2015 so far) has been surprisingly lacking when it comes to exciting musical bangers. That may change in the Fall, though, as Disclosure plan to drop their sophomore Caracal album in September. As a lead up to the release, the UK brothers have unveiled an accompanying trailer today (June 24).
The 45-second long clip is a very mysterious one, as it focuses on a girl named Mariela who is chosen to fulfill an undisclosed but seemingly life-threatening mission. As a Spanish voiceover plays in the background, action shots of Mariela getting the cat tattoo (as seen on the UK duo’s LP cover), an armed SWAT team and a church are all flashed on the screen. The video is cited as a “film trailer,” so will Disclosure also be releasing a mini-movie? We hope to find out soon!
Look out for Caracal, the follow-up to 2013’s Settle, on September 25 via Interscope Records.
