Rick Ross Arrested For Weed Possession
Ross was arrested on misdemeanor marijuana charges after getting pulled over in Atlanta.

UPDATE: Based on new details reported by TMZ, Rick Ross allegedly pistol-whipped one of the employees hired to do some work on his property. Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ says Ross got into an argument with his groundskeeper, eventually forcing him into the guesthouse at gunpoint and hitting him in the face twice with his handgun, resulting in an injured jaw and two chipped teeth. WBS-TV reports that a judge denied Ross bond this morning.

Rick Ross is in trouble with the law again, but this time it sounds much more serious than a weed arrest. In fact, with the involvement of US Marshals and alleged kidnapping, it’s stuff more befitting of Rozay’s fictional drug kingpin persona than his actual celebrity baller life. According to Atlanta’s CBS affiliate, the US Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force assisted the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office in arresting Ross and his bodyguard on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

The AP reports that the two men were apprehended this morning (June 24) at the rapper’s mansion and are being held at Fayette County Jail awaiting bond. Meanwhile, the media awaits more details on the charges from the local authorities.

Fayette County, in the Atlanta metro area, is also where Ross was arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession earlier this month.
