After reuniting with Pharrell for the funky Bush, Snoop Dogg has re-upped with another of his legendary producers, posting a studio photo with Dr. Dre indicating that one of pop music’s most iconic unofficial duos is cooking something up.

“Guess who bAcc,” he captioned the post. There are no details on what they’re working on (lol Detox?), but the fact that Snoop said they’re back indicates to me, at least, that this wasn’t just a friendly meet-up.

The two Cali kings first teamed up on “Deep Cover” in 1992 and then proceeded to churn out a string of groundbreaking singles on The Chronic and Doggystyle the following year. Then at the turn of the millennium they linked up again on Dre’s 2001. If they’re working on new tunes, I believe it would be their first time collaborating since DMX‘s 2012 track “Shit Don’t Change.”
