Countess LuAnn is one of the less offensive examples of a reality TV star that dabbles in pop music. Sure, she has a way to go before matching the unparalleled guilty pleasure that is Heidi Montag’s Superficial album — but previous singles “Money Can’t Buy You Class” and “Chic, C’est La Vie” were high-camp delights with quotable lyrics. The Real Housewives Of New York star premiered a new track on Watch What Happens Live last night (June 23) and, again, it’s not terrible.

The fabulous 50-year-old opts for an on-trend disco sound on “Girl Code (Don’t Be So Uncool),” which suits her voice a lot better than the electro-pop of previous singles. “I’m the type of girl that’s always loyal until the end,” LuAnn chirps over a funky bass-line. “People come and go, but I’ll always be a friend.” The diva’s daughter Victoria de Lesseps then joins in for the chorus: “Don’t be so uncool, you broke the girl code.” While not exactly a Grammy contender, it should put a smile on your face. Watch up top.
