Pop Stars React To Supreme Court Ruling Of Same-Sex Marriage
Today (June 26) marks a big day for America, as the Supreme Court announced its decision to legalize same-sex marriage in all 50 states and rule the previous ban unconstitutional. Once the news was unveiled nationwide, pop stars took to social media to share their thoughts on the historical decision. This comes as no surprise, as they have been very vocal on past announcements like the Supreme Court ruling on DOMA back in 2013.
Below, read reactions from pop artists like Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding and many more!
Liza Minnelli issued this statement on the ruling: “I have always said that everyone has the right to love who they love and today, with the historic decision from the Supreme Court, I am so happy it is now the law of the land.”
