Zayn Malik remixed Rae Sremmurd's "No Type" with UK rapper MIC Righteous.

Zayn Malik’s best friend/unofficial spokesman Naughty Boy gave some insight into the singer’s solo album during an interview with Capital FM. “He’s making a very soulful record,” the “La La La” producer revealed. “He’s writing, himself, on it as well.” He didn’t have much else to say, but added this cryptic tidbit: “I think it’s worth the wait… it’ll all make sense soon. Zayn’s his own man, no one can tell Zayn what to do, especially me!”

The wait Naught Boy is referring to could last a while. Mic Righteous, who collaborated with Zayn on that quirky “No Type” remix, revealed that the 22-year-old has been banned from releasing solo music for two years. “Shah (naughtyboy) told me that his label wont let him release any music for the next two yrs,” the UK rapper posted on Facebook. That could explain why the former One Direction star has been leaking music online.
