'To Pimp A Butterfly': Review
Here's our take on Kendrick Lamar's ambitious artistic statement.

Kendrick Lamar has premiered the nearly seven-minute video for To Pimp A Butterfly standout “Alright.” The black-and-white visual starts off with some scattered scenes of L.A. strife, before a cop’s gunshot rings out and we see Lamar riding around with his Black Hippy crewmates Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock. From there, things take a turn for the surreal, as the car is being carried by four cops, and Kendrick proceeds to float through Compton and Oakland and levitate above crowds (stunts the rapper did himself). Just watch out for that comedown.

The video was directed by Colin Tilley and The Little Homies. Check it out up top.
