Details on Robyn's new dance-centric side project/band.

Robyn announced new side-project Robyn & La Bagatelle Magique (comprised of the Swedish pop star, her touring keyboardist Markus Jägerstedt and late producer Christian Falk) in May and dropped the outfit’s first single “Love Is Free” a month later. Featuring Mad Decent diva Maluca, the track is a loving homage to the ’90s house scene. It makes perfect sense then, to tap house legend Todd Terry for the towering remix.

The 48-year-old New Yorker is a true house pioneer — helping shape the genre with original tracks (“Weekend”), production work (Jungle Brothers’ “I’ll House You”) and a bunch of classic remixes (Everything But The Girl’s “Missing”). Robyn & La Bagatelle Magique’s “Love Is Free” already had a fairly authentic ’90s sound, but Terry erases all traces of gimmickry. Listen to his massive overhaul below. (Fingers crossed there’s an extended mix on the way).
