Charlie And Meghan's "Marvin Gaye" Video
Charlie and Meghan spark a make-out frenzy in their retro "Marvin Gaye" video clip.

If you needed any further convincing that Nathan Sykes is the real deal vocally, check out his interpretation of Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor’s rising hit “Marvin Gaye” (above). The 22-year-old delivers a raw, stripped back version, which shows off the full extent of his powerful pipes. He really tears into the song — making it sound infinitely sexier than the sedate original.

“Dude you have such a good voice it’s ridiculous,” Charlie congratulated the former boy band star on Twitter. “Love the ‘Marvin Gaye’ cover xx.” Nathan performed the song as part of a session for Capital FM. He’s currently promoting fluffy debut single “Kiss Me Quick,” which is starting to get a little love on pop radio. If this is any indication of his ability, perhaps he should opt for meatier material moving forward. Watch up top.
