K. Michelle Is Working With Timbaland, Rico Love, Ester Dean & Azealia Banks On Her Third Album
K. Michelle recently shocked fans by announcing that her third LP will be her last. “I wanna focus on other things, like my acting, my businesses, and Family,” the R&B diva explained on Twitter. It’s a curious decision given the success and quality of Rebellious Soul and Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart, but she plans to go out with a bang by teaming up with some of the hottest songwriters and producers in the game. Oh, and Azealia Banks.
The 31-year-old has already tweeted about fulfilling a dream by working with Diane Warren on the album. Also on the short, but impressive list of collaborators are singer/songwriter Ester Dean and producers Timbaland and Rico Love. K. also promised a feature from Azealia, tweeting: “That’s a done deal.” As for the direction of the album? “Everything they told me I couldn’t do. A lot of Rock, soul, and country.” Can’t wait.
