2015 has been a great year for emerging female artists. Get to know three new divas.

FLETCHER arrive in fine style late last month with rousing pop anthem “War Paint.” A couple of weeks and 100,000+ plays on SoundCloud later, Cari (her real name) drops the Garen Barsegian-directed visual. It effectively employs a couple of music video staples — the ever-effective neon light tube, multiple costume changes and a dance routine — in a fresh and original manner. My only complaint is the lighting. (It’s occasionally difficult to see what’s happening).

All in all, it’s an impressive start for a diva that arrived out of nowhere with an astoundingly effective debut single that is garnering comparisons with OneRepublic thanks to that massive sing-a-long chorus. I really admire FLETCHER’s ability to fold folk and rock elements into her pop aesthetic and I’m a sucker for anyone with enough backbone to use a banjo in 2015. Watch the video up top.
