Beyonce, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran & Pearl Jam To Headline Global Citizen Festival 2015

The Global Citizen Festival returns to New York City this year, with curator Chris Martin booking friends like Beyonce, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran and his own Coldplay as performers. The one-day festival (which is part of The Global Poverty Projectaims to raise awareness fir extreme poverty worldwide, with hopes of eradicating it by 2030.

Look out for the Global Citizen Festival on September 26 on the Great Lawn at NYC’s Central Park. The one-hour special will also be streamed worldwide the following day via MSNBC, YouTube, NBC, iHeartRadio, TIDAL and BBC Worldwide.

Free tickets can be attained via the festival website, so click here for more information on how you can pledge to take an “Action Journey” to encourage the U.S. State Department to give 50 percent of its foreign aid budget to the world’s poorest countries. VIP tickets will also be available on Ticketmaster this Friday (July 10) at 10 a.m.
