Madonna must be singing praises today, as the Israeli hacker who leaked her Rebel Heart demos has now been jailed.

Adi Lederman (who was a former contestant on Israel’s American Idol) will be behind bars for 14 months and fined $4,000 for not only hacking into email and cloud accounts to leak the album demos, but also reportedly selling the tracks for $300 a pop. The hacks affected four people, including Madonna’s musical director Kevin Antunes and talent manager Guy Osear.

Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court said in a statement: “The ease with which crimes such as this can be committed by those who have skills in the field, such as the accused, require an appropriate punitive response that has a deterrent and uncompromising message.”

The “Bitch I’m Madonna” entertainer has previously said the crime was an “invasion into my life — creatively, professionally and personally (that) remains a deeply devastating and hurtful experience.”

But now Madge can rest easy and prep for her upcoming Rebel Heart World Tour, which kicks off on August 29 in Miami, FL. Comedienne Amy Schumer will be the opening act for the NYC dates.
