Tori Kelly Performs “Should’ve Been Us” Live On ‘The View’: Watch
Tori Kelly is developing a reputation for showing up everyone at award ceremonies with her impressive vocals. (See the newcomer’s stunning rendition of “Nobody Love” at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards or that brilliant tribute to Smokey Robinson at the BET Awards). The 22-year-old put those golden pipes to work today (July 9) on The View, belting out new single “Should’ve Been Us” — flawlessly, as usual.
The perky pop anthem is the second cut from Tori’s debut LP Unbreakable Smile, which recently debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. It’s getting a warm reception at pop radio and could well turn out to be a bigger hit than “Nobody Love.” She does the song justice with a stripped-back performance on The View and opens up about her pre-fame days making YouTube videos and competing in talent shows.
