Meghan Trainor And John Legend’s Rainy “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” Video: Watch
Meghan Trainor is on one hell of roll. Since spending eight weeks at number one with debut single “All About That Bass,” everything the 21-year-old has touched has turned to gold. She returned to the top 10 with “Lips Are Movin,” went platinum with the semi-controversial “Dear Future Husband” and even has a hit on her hands with a feature on Charlie Puth’s “Marvin Gaye.” Needless to say expectations are sky-high for “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” — a classy duet with John Legend.
The video premiered tonight (July 9) on the Times Square Sony Billboard in New York City and it finds Meghan belting out the retro-soul ballad in a candlelit room. She watches various people interact with their loved ones in the rain until John arrives and sings outside her window. The Title diva recently suffered a hemorrhage on her vocal cord, but she’s expected to make a full recovery and kicks off her delayed The MTrain Tour on July 14 in St. Louis.
