Years & Years' 'Communion': Album Review
We dive into one of the more genuine pop records of 2015.

Tropical House is a genre that has recently taken over the dance scene, and it is partly due to one of its main curators — Thomas Jack. The Australian DJ/Producer (who is responsible for discovering man-of-the-moment Kygo) is back with his first original track in over a year.

Titled “Rivers,” the song is co-produced by Jack and German progressive house artist JUNKX. It starts off with a charming acoustic guitar-flicked melody and soon rushes in with velvety vocals and shimmering synths that has “Summer” written all over it.

Thomas Jack had this to say about the tune: “I’m really excited and honored to be releasing ‘Rivers’ via Pete’s FFRR record label. It’s been awhile since I released new music, and this track is very much in line with my musical direction right now.” Take a listen to “Rivers” below, which is now available on iTunes.
