Epic Records released the Spanish version of Fifth Harmony‘s “Worth It” to iTunes last night (July 10). To the disappointment of some fans, “Dame Esta Noche” doesn’t feature member Lauren Jauregui, who does speak Spanish. Instead, this rendition has the exact same vocalists from the Reflection original, including Kid Ink with his English-language rap verses.

Releasing a Spanish version of “Worth It” makes sense. It is Fifth Harmony’s biggest Billboard hit so far, as it continues to climb the Top 20. Plus, as Nielsen discovered last year, Hispanic millennials listen to radio for over 12 hours each week — the most out of any demographic. Still, “Dame Esta Noche” would have seemed like a smarter move if the label had taken each member of Fifth Harmony’s individual strengths into consideration — or, at the very least, had Kid Ink return to the booth to rerecord his verses.

Listen to Fifth Harmony’s “Dame Esta Noche” below and purchase it on iTunes.
