Rick Ross Preps New LP 'Black Dollar'
After releasing two albums in 2014, Rick Ross is showing no signs of slowing down.

50 Cent‘s beef with Rick Ross just cost him $5 million. The two rappers have spent years feuding, to the point where in 2013, after Rozay was the victim of a drive-by shooting, 50 theorized it was staged by Ross. Strangely, one of the longstanding issues of their beef is a sex tape that neither of them is even in. The explicit 13-minute clip features Ross’ ex-girlfriend, Lastonia Leviston, with footage of 50 Cent spliced in offering his own play-by-play in character as Pimpin’ Curly — a Let’s Play as secondhand revenge porn, basically. It’s all very icky.

The video landed online in 2009, and Leviston sued the rapper/actor/mogul for invasion of privacy. And on Friday (July 10), a jury handed in a verdict that 50 Cent must pay her $5 million for the stunt, reports the New York Daily News.

50 Cent’s legal team claimed the rapper got the original video from Leviston’s then-boyfriend, who was also in the video, and that 50 himself didn’t post the clip online. The rapper’s defense team said they are “disappointed in the verdict but very appreciative of the service of the jury and the court.”

Jurors are still deliberating on punitive damages, so Fiddy’s $5M bill could go even higher.

UPDATE: Coincidentally, 50 Cent has filed for bankruptcy today (July 13), just a few days after getting hit with the big verdict. Hmm.
